Right near my home GW store in Vaughan Mills, there is a Wii booth set up, to show peopla what it's like. It feels as though my SOUL is being ripped in two! On the one hand, it's a favourite hobby and i have to paint and play and etc. But on the other hand it's the Wii. Just that. A wii. So if there ever was a conflict of interest for me on christmas, this would be it :?

Wii is cool, I tried "Red Steel" there and was incredibly dissapointed, the controls are far from refined, to the point of awkward and frustrating, and the graphics just arent all that great. On the topic of X-mas.. I got my Avatar! Going to start cutting him up soon, I'll be taking lots of pictures, I still have to finalize a pose for him too. ' -Legacy40k

Ainu- 12-09-2006

I suppose you bought the avatar then? :?

Legacy40k- 12-09-2006

I suppose you bought the avatar then? :? Sure did! I havent finalized on the pose I want to use though. It has to be something that expresses power, and grace. I see the Avatar as moving with the unnatural grace of the Eldar, but not the agility or quickness, instead... raw power.

I just opened some presents today because I won't be at home for Christmas and I got a new digital camera. So now maybe I'll be able to take some decent pictures of my models :P

I just opened some presents today because I won't be at home for Christmas and I got a new digital camera. So now maybe I'll be able to take some decent pictures of my models :P Biggest things for taking pictures: White Background. Good Lighting: Ideally white light, and 2 of them. Tripod (or at least something to set the camera on) Timer (pushing the shutter can screw up the shot) Macro (little flower icon that allows you to focus to close up objects) High F Stop.. F6-8 is pretty good. It is what determines your depth of field.. or how far away something has to be to be blurry, the higher the number, the greater the distance that will be in focus. -Legacy40k
