more on the marine, bad pics slightly dull the highlights, but ive brightened some places after the pics as well and a fun little piece from kraken editions, still need to pour the resin water

I'd love it if you did a step by step when you get around to doing the power weapon.. I don't think I've ever seen a red one, and I'm always looking for new ways to paint power weapons.

here's a sculpt i was working on awhile ago, 2nd attempt at a sculpt, never finished the first, first attempt at a bust, and head, so its not the best (eyes are too small for example) heres a mockup, the hair, clothing and such is just laid on to give me a visual of what i wanted to do...and to make sure the face was female and not male :P i still have a lot of fixing to do, learned a lot using fimo for the first time as well...i will be fixing the lips, eyes, and ear that is too high with epoxy putties...i took a break from her as i needed time to study folds...i still do so wont see much progress on her for a bit

Her lower lip makes her look kind of like Rocky :P However it's a very nice sculpt on the whole :)

as i wait for my new brushes to come in to replace my worn out one im working on sculpting i was originally working on a 54mm version of this, but with the change to the rules for GD, and other things ive changed plans and am now working on a 28mm version QUESTION- should i remove the armour belt and soften the crotch guard and simply use "soft" materials there like the robe and corset? and the soft belt over top? the crotch guard is a bit off centre right now and would need fixing anyways Inspiration for pose But with newer style get-up, with my own twist

grrrr.......once again useless armatures have screwed my sculpt up....the resting legs pin doesnt go through the foot cuz i screwed up initially, so i have nothing to really connect that piece to the main body nor the foot on the rock...so im gonna have to create the joint on the hip before i can attach the leg back, and then to the foot..WHAT A PAINNNNN anyways ive cut off the leg, turned the body slightly, shortened the thigh plate on the inside of the thigh, it is now equal to the other one ive trimmed the torso she was leaning forward too much, so im adjusting that and now i have to adjust the standing leg, its not under her bodyweight enough, so im moving the foot back a bit, the curve of the leg already works for this

just been shaving away trying fix the shapes, and adjust anatomy i need to fix the boobs still, pressing them together more the ear was moved down, the face softened the forehead adjusted along with the skull...the eyes saw some work, but need more...ummm the raised arm had anatomy changes, and the bent arm got thinned down a bunch need to slim the back down further, and soften the collarbone when i add more putty

that bust is looking unbelievably good. I agree with Ian about the lower lip though, looks funny, unless you plan on sticking something into her mouth. How many times has it been baked?

shes gonna have a glove in her mouth, so her bottom lip is being pulled out im not great with facial muscles yet so the slight snarl didnt work out really well which makes the upper lip look a bit weirder than it should it was baked after the first set of build up fimo, and then once after i put the rest on...i made errors i realise now, hence why im shaving away...in the future im gonna make sure its good before baking, because its way easier to sculpt when its fresh

finished off a bunch of ebay stuff, still have a bit more to go but i needed a break from that quality to paint something real for once i will finish this piece completely and not rush or skip parts for the first time ever this is what i have so far, the photo is decent but not amazing

did some more work, the dress, its a bit less harsh in person, i still need to intensify the colours in it a bit more just to show where i added the red

The texture on the clothing is absolutely top-notch.
