Digital Painting WIP
This is going to be my first completely finished digitial painting. I've dabbled a bit before, but I've pretty much done only sketch level paintings. This though, I'm determined to finish and get printed professionally. It's been a great exercise in shape, depth and colour as well as blending with digital painting. I could make the blends perfect if I wanted to, but I want to leave a bit of a painterly feel to it, so I'm leaving brush strokes. Otherwise, I might as well just use gradient fills. Early WIP: Current state: The line work is on it's own layer so I can show and hide it as needed to help block out the new shapes. Originally I wasn't planning any background other than the paper, but I found some cool shapes/graphics that I worked into it, I like the addition, it keeps it all very visually interesting.

Decided to get rid of the grey bit and added another arrow to get a bit more balance to the top right. It doesn't feel done, but I have no idea what else to do with it.

Originally I was going do it in sepia tones to fit in with the background better.. here's an experiment in what it would look like. couple more playing with hue/saturation.
